Charles Kirkland Charles Kirkland specializes in orthopedics with a focus in manual therapy. He has experience in geriatric rehab, vestibular rehab, orthopedic surgical patients and athletes, and has been practicing physical therapy for seven years. He has also certified as a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). His goals are to continue his manual therapy treatment focus, continue working with weight loss solutions, and develop functional preventative injury programs for athletes and the elderly. Charles is currently enrolled in a post graduate residency program through the Ola Grimsby Institute (OGI). He completed OGI’s Doctorate of physical therapy program and is enrolled in the 2008 Fellowship program based out of Little Rock. Charles received a Bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Morehouse College in May 1997. He graduated from Creighton University in 2000 where he received his doctor of physical therapy degree (DPT). He was the first African American male in the United States to earn the DPT degree. |
